My first blog post...And a challenge:)

Hi guys I decided to start writing a blog, mostly because I've never really typed out my thoughts on a blog. However I figured it would be best to start now that I've found new motivation towards playing poker and building a bankroll again. For the past 2 months or so I've been on my summer holiday and thought that I would once again start playing a bunch but that didn't exactly happen.I was so tired from school that I really just wanted to relax and enjoy not having to get up at 6 a.m and getting on a bus every single day to get to school for 8 hours.Anyways enough of the boring stuff. Now that summer is coming to an end I want to challenge myself in poker...By turning $200 into $10 000 during the next 12 months or so.Figured I could use a fresh start in poker and this seems like a pretty good way to motivate myself. Also what motivated me to do this was Jason Somerville's videos called Run it Up!Where he started from $50 and is trying to get to $10 000.If you haven't seen them you should for sure check them out,not only are they very entertaining but also you get to see a world class professional poker player play and talk his thoughts.I'll leave a link to the first Run It Up for anyone who's interestedSo the way I plan on getting to $10 000 is by playing sit&go's mostly, since I won't have all day to play.I've already started on Pokerstars playing $3.50 18 player sit&go's.These are very soft so I should have no problem winning in these games. Now my bankroll is at $250 so definetly a great start to the challenge. At around $350 I'll move up to $7 18 mans,50 buy ins should be sufficient.Obviously if I hit a big downswing I'll move back down. But ideally I'll have a pretty steady time moving up.At $500 I'll propably find a smaller site that I can get a deposit bonus on.I haven't decided what site yet but I'll start thinking about it once I actually hit $500.I'll propably update this blog once a week to talk about how the challenge is going and other random things. So until then good luck at the tables everyone! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_OGfEY1vQg
