New Design is Live

Well after what seems like an eternity the new design is live. When I purchased this site, the previous owner had been working with a designer and she agreed to finish the design with me. I got the design, but had second thoughts about it.

If you thought the previous green was bad, then this green would burn your retinas. No offense to KidRed, but the green had to go. I found a new designer, who ended up being a godsend. He did the graphic design, coding, upgrade, and installation. If anyone knows anything about a forum, they know how much of a pain this can all be.

So what now?

Just because there is a new look to the forum doesn't mean it will magically spring back to life. A forum is defined by it's members, and getting members to come back and post will be the hardest part.

As soon as I figure out what is wrong with the email feature, I will be sending out an update to old members to come check out the new look and features.

In the meantime, jump in and join the discussion!

Check back at this blog as I will be updating it regularly to show the progress and improvements that are in the works.

Don't see where PMs are so will post here.

Of course everyone see that this forum (and many others BTW) is dying. And this is not because of lack of webmasters' work but the general situation around online poker.

I don't think it is a good idea to buy such websites now but in any case I wonder - may be the owner will sell it to me.
I'm good at web promotion and I think I will be able to revive it.

I kindly ask Hollowman to PM or email me so that we will discuss it.

Ridiculous that Platinum would say it's a bad investment, and then ask to buy it. Pathetic.
