DO NOT TROLL!

No flaming or trolling is allowed in this, or any of our forums. If you engage in this behavior you will be suspended from the forum and possibly banned for life.

Examples of trolling are following specific posters around the forum and ridiculing them, or making harsh personal attacks. The consequences of these actions will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

DO NOT SPAM!

We will not tolerate spam on the boards, such as posting random links to their sites and projects. If you engage in this behavior you will be suspended from the forum and possibly banned for life.

Examples of Spam are posting non-poker related links (especially to things you personally benefit from) or off-topic links to your site(s).The consequences of these actions will be decided on a case-by-case basis –first-time posters who spam will be perma-banned, while long-standing posters will be warned privately before action is taken in most cases.

We will not run the site with an iron-fist, and if you have written an article somewhere that is relevant to the conversation feel-free to post it; so long as you contribute to the discussion!

DO NOT POST PORNOGRAPHY OR MAKE INFLAMMATORY COMMENTS

Please refrain from posting anything that would be considered pornographic on the site, and under no circumstances will we tolerate hate-speech or other inflammatory remarks on the forums. The consequences of these actions will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

WHEN IN DOUBT, USE THE SEARCH FEATURE

Before you post a new thread please take two minutes to run a basic search to see if the topic has been discussed recently. We have been online since 2004 so there will always be some topics that get rehashed (and many need to be rehashed as the conversations are likely outdated) but please make sure you are not making a duplicate thread of an ongoing discussion.

POST IN THE APPROPRIATE FORUM

While we have many forums (with a lot of crossover between some) make sure you start threads in the appropriate forum. If you are not sure simply post in the General Poker Discussion (our most popular forum) since pretty much anything can be posted there and moderators can move threads to the appropriate forum if need be.
