    Default No HUDs allowed

Are there any tips that can be provided for playing on WSOP and 888 which do not allow the use of HUDs? I have found so far that the best way to keep track is to use the picture tags and diligent note taking, but other than that, what is the best way to assess another player's abilities and play appropriately? I have been finding it much more difficult to play straight up with no HUD than with that advantage.

How many tables are you playing?

You may have to cut down on the number of tables you're playing if you don't have a HUD.

But basically, just pay attention, take relevant notes, and try to come up with a shorthand system that works for you. Back in the day I used to write down each person's screen name at the top of a piece of paper and put an X if they folded, an O if they limped and a R if the raised (RR) for 3-bet and such. after a couple orbits you'll have a pretty good idea of their VPIP and PFR

I have been keeping my number of tables played to a maximum of 3. I noticed that more than that causes my hourly rate to plunge.

I know there are HUDs available for Party/Borgata, but I don't play on there much just because I hate the software. I mostly play on WSOP and 888

Was told today that Holdem Manager is also working at NJ partypoker sites now.

in regards to 888 and WSOP.com, my understanding is they scramble their hand histories so they do not function with tracking software and HUD's.
